Water plant control systems ran on an isolated network with no path from the public internet.
Both plants were connected through unmanaged modems, with no industrial firewall and remote-access software reachable around the clock.
Findings across cyber, physical, and operational security became one remediation strategy, coordinated by DDG with specialized ICS and OT engineering resources. It was implemented and validated.
